38 Special (also written .38 Special or Thirty-Eight Special) is an American rock band that was formed by neighborhood friends Don Barnes and Donnie Van Zant in 1975 in Jacksonville, Florida.[1] The band's first two albums had a strong southern rock vibe. By the early 1980s, 38 Special shifted to a more accessible arena rock style without abandoning its southern rock roots. This shift helped to usher in a string of successful albums and singles.
Their breakthrough hit was "Hold On Loosely" (1981); "Caught Up In You" (1982) and "If I'd Been The One" (1983) both hit #1 on Billboard magazine's Album Rock Tracks chart. "Back Where You Belong" (1984) continued the annual sequence of radio favorites, and "Second Chance" (1989) was a #1 hit on Billboard's adult contemporary chart.

OU812 (pronounced "Oh You Eight One Two") is the eighth studio album by American rock band Van Halen. It was released in 1988 and is the second to feature vocalist Sammy Hagar. Van Halen started work on the album in September 1987 and completed it in April 1988, just one month before its release.

Lizzy Borden (1987) - Visual Lies (Remastered 2002)
Visual Lies is the third album by the American heavy metal band Lizzy Borden and the only one to feature future David Lee Roth and Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Joe Holmes, credited as J. Holmes.
It features their best known song "Me Against the World" for which the band shot a promotional video. The track was also featured in the 1987 heavy-metal horror film, Black Roses. The movie remains a cult-classic among 80's glam metal fans.

Nelson (2015) - Peace Out
Nelson is an American rock band founded by singer/songwriters Matthew and Gunnar Nelson (twin sons of Ricky Nelson and Kristin Nelson). The band achieved success during the early 1990s debut album After the Rain, that included "(Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection".
After the success of their first album, the band claims to have been faced with conflicts with their record label, lack of support from the media, and the shift in music towards grunge and alternative rock. They eventually split with Geffen Records in 1995. Despite this, the band has continued to produce and release albums independently under their own label, Stone Canyon Records.
Matthew and Gunnar also perform under the name of Ricky Nelson Remembered, as a tribute to their father. They are listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as, the only family to reach number one record status in three successive generations (beginning with grandparents Ozzie and Harriet Nelson).

Richard Marx (2020) Limitless
Limitless is the twelfth studio album (36th overall) by American singer/songwriter and record producer/arranger Richard Marx, released on February 7, 2020. It is his first studio album since 2014. It was the first time Marx had recorded an album without the conscious thought of making an album.
Marx usually produces his albums by himself but this time, he worked with several different producers, all of whom also co-wrote a majority of the songs on the album as well. His son Lucas was one of the producers who also co-wrote two of the tracks, including the single "Another One Down".
